Tools

The only tools required for this procedure are a Phillips screwdriver and either a ﬂat-blade

screwdriver or needlenose pliers.

Preliminary Steps

Before you begin, remove the system from the rack and place it on a sturdy, ﬂat surface

and ESD mat. Then remove the following:

• Top cover

• Front bezel

• Left front panel board

Note:

The front panel button kit comes with both the system identiﬁer button and the mute

button.
