Software Instrument Track Editor / Matrix Editor

You can edit notes in MIDI Regions in the Matrix Editor. The Matrix Editor displays note

position, pitch, and length in the same way the GarageBand track editor does, and

displays different velocity levels using colors.

Logic Matrix Editor

To open the Matrix Editor, select a MIDI Region, then choose Window > Matrix Edit (or

press Command-6).

You can also view and edit controller information, including pitch bend, mod wheel,

sustain, and other MIDI information, in the Matrix Editor.

Logic gives you several additional editor windows in which to view and edit your music:

•

Event List (for MIDI Regions; also for folders or the entire Arrange window)

•

Score Editor (for MIDI Regions)

•

Hyper Editor (for MIDI Regions)
