Modem Removal

Before proceeding, you must first remove:

Battery

Keyboard

Bottom Case

Top Case

Top Shield

Remove the strip of tape holding the

display cable to the modem. Be

extremely careful with the display

cable. You do not want to put this

cable under a lot of stress.

Remove the two Philips head screws

as shown. (The red dot is shown on

top of the cable, but the screw is

underneath the cable.)
