Setting Up a Multi-angle Track

DVD Studio Pro has the ability to create multi-angle tracks. A multi-angle track

lets the viewer switch between different, or alternate, angles when viewing the

track. This feature is often used to show different camera angles of the same shot

or to place another video stream, such as storyboards, on an alternate angle.

Next you will create a multi-angle track that will use five video streams within

the track. One stream will be the edited version of the shark dive, and four

streams will have different perspectives. The viewer will be able to jump

between streams when watching the DVD.

1 Click the Menu tab and choose Menu 2 in the View pop-up menu in the

Menu Editor if it is not already selected.

2 From the Movie Assets folder in the Assets tab drag the Shark_Angles_

Cut.m2v video file to the View Angles button and choose Create Track,

Connect to Track from the Drop Palette.

The Shark_Angles_Cut.m2v video and audio streams are displayed in the

Track tab in the lower quadrant (quadrant 3).

3 Click the Show Multiple Video Streams button at the upper left of the

Track tab.
