thefollowingsteps.

Cable Modem, DSL, and LAN Internet Connections

Makesureallmodemcablesarermlypluggedin,includingthemodempowercord,

thecablefromthemodemtothecomputer,andthecablefromthemodemtothe

walljack.AlsocheckthecablesandpowersuppliesforEthernethubsandrouters.

TurnoyourDSLorcablemodemforafewminutes,andthenturnitbackon.

SomeISPsrecommendthatyouunplugthemodem’spowercord.Ifyourmodemhasa

resetbutton,youcanpressiteitherbeforeorafteryouturnthepoweroandon.
